A.W.A.N.A. is our Sunday evening classes geared towards empowering youth to learn about God and thoroughly equip them to share that knowledge and love with others! With nearly 70 years of discipleship material and participants in over 100 countries, A.W.A.N.A. has proven to nurture and empower our youth through biblical teaching and discipleship.

Our A.W.A.N.A. classes are open to all children in grades K-12. Classes start Sunday, September 29th and go until the end of the school year. Classes start at 6:00 p.m. and last roughly one hour. Classes are separated into appropriate age groups. We do not charge for our classes, and children will be given a light meal to enjoy prior to class starting.

All of our classes are taught by volunteers, and as part of the Safe Church Initiative, all volunteers who will be regularly assisting with A.W.A.N.A. are required to pass a background check.

Adults are welcome to stay for the coinciding evening service, or drop the children off. Can't make it to drop off or pick up your child? You can sign up to have them take the church van to and from classes!

Below you will find the secure registration form. Simply fill out all required fields, hit submit, and we'll have your child registered! If you have any questions, please feel free to email firstbaptistchurch.sandyhook@gmail.com
